Abstract

Hospitals, as institutions dedicated to service provision, must ensure that their personnel operate both effectively and efficiently to meet organizational objectives in delivering optimal health services to all patients. The purpose of this study is to investigate how transformational leadership affects worker performance as well as how organizational culture and public service motive affect worker performance. Furthermore, it explores the function of organizational culture as a mediating factor between employee performance and transformational leadership, as well as the related function of public service motivation. Using data analysis techniques like validity and reliability assessments, normality checks, and hypothesis testing using the Sobel mediation test, this study uses a quantitative methodology. The 270 workers at Kotabumi Regional Hospital made up the study's sample. The findings show a strong and favorable correlation between transformative leadership and worker performance. On the other hand, there was no discernible impact of public service motive or corporate culture on worker performance. Additionally, the association between transformative leadership and employee performance was not mediated by company culture or public service motive. Given these results, the researchers advise that future research expand on this study by examining the same factors in order to improve knowledge of hospital staff performance.
